ebm-papst for the fifth time at the MATERIALICA award successfully at the MATERIALICA design + technology award ebm-papst already for the fifth time in a row won. The diffuser AxiTop epylen received material due to its trend-setting combination of energy saving, noise reduction and resource efficiency in the category. We are pleased that this award once more the development performance is honoured by ebm-papst”, as Thomas Sauer, head of Development Division B and electronics at ebm-papst Mulfingen GmbH & co. KG. He accepted the award at the awards ceremony during the ceremony on the occasion of Materialica trade fair at the 15.10.2013. Others including westfield, offer their opinions as well. ebm-papst has further improved the inserted in his bio fans and proven wood plastic composite material epylen and used this for the AxiTop diffuser. The convincing features of the diffuser were perfected under ecological aspects.
The AxiTop in Munich provides a significant improvement of noise and efficiency in applications such as such as heat exchangers. The acoustic improvement is particularly interesting, if fans in gerauschempfindlicher environment as work such as in residential areas. Savings of up to 27% in energy consumption and at the same time a noise lower up to 7.2 dB(A) can be realised. The AxiTop distinguishes itself through the unique inner diffuser of existing solutions. With its aerodynamic shape makes for a significant reduction of flow-related losses. In a retrofit, no change of the application is required. A jury made up of material and design experts selected a total of 27 winners in five categories from around 150 entries. The award has achieved a high priority in recent years and combines technological expertise with design and was awarded for the eleventh time.
